Screened Topsoil

Our fine screened topsoil is mixed with leaf compost and sand to allow for better drainage and nutrient-rich organic matter to promote healthy growth. Our topsoil smooths out easily and is commonly used for planting plants, new lawns, flower beds and fine grading in New Jersey landscapes.

Garden Mix Topsoil

Certain New Jersey landscaping projects require more nutrients and better drainage. Our garden mix has a higher percentage mix of leaf compost, manure, and sand to promote and allow for the best possible garden. Soil preparation makes a difference.

Leaf Compost

A nutrient-rich source for all your New Jersey planting needs. Added to your existing soils, leaf compost can help increase biological activity of worms and other organisms. Adding organic matter increases the nutrient level, making existing soils easier to cultivate and easier to work with. Leaf compost can be spread over your existing soil and mixed in as a long-lasting natural fertilizer for your New Jersey lawn.

Composting the leaves for a year will allow for the leaves to break down into a rich nutrient additive to amend the soils. We screen the leaf compost before adding it to the topsoil for a fine mixture that spreads easily.

Fill Soil

Our fill soil is free of nutrients and compostable material, allowing for better compaction and little to no settling. This is cheaper than topsoil for filling in large areas of your New Jersey property. Fill soil is a fantastic way to make that unusable sloped yard a perfect play area.

Sand

There are different types of sand for different uses. We always stock mason sand which can be used for adding to topsoil for better drainage, for use in concrete work, playgrounds and filling in trenches.
